|Aston Martin, a name synonymous with style and quality with a pedigree
in producing magnificent cars stopped production of it's cars in 1970. This ended
the manufacturer of the DB6, the model at that time.
Thanks to Ford, having bought a large proportion of the company, in 1991 Aston Martin were able to design a car to continue the Aston Martin name into the 90's.
The designer of DB7 (Ian Callum) was given a brief to style a DB for the 1990's, an emotive shape that was unmistakably Aston Martin. To portray something that was British, elegant but purposeful, with the slightest hint of aggression. The resulting car you see below, and from the specifications from below you can see that it was a huge success.
The car defines elegance and luxury with a full Connoly hide interior, burr walnut trim and deep pile carpeting, and performance to match that of many super cars, it is a truely excellence motor vehicle.
